Reception - Rabbits

Welcome to the Rabbits page!

My name is Miss Bonthrone and  I am the Rabbits Class Teacher.  Mrs Staden is our teaching assistant. We work closely with the Squirrels Class to provide a fun and safe learning environment!

  • Online Safety During the school closures our children will be spending more time online and as parents we may not be as engaged as we usually are as we try to balance work deadlines with childcare. Screen time is inevitably going to be increased for most families and it is more important than before that we remind ourselves how to keep our children safe online.

  • 'Teach Your Monster to Read' App The groundbreaking game that makes learning to read fun • Covers everything from letters and sounds to reading full sentences. • Designed in collaboration with leading academics. • Complements all synthetic phonics programmes used in schools. • Computer version is 100% free. You can also download it from the app store to use on iPads and Tablets.
  • IXL Maths Some great online activities to practice Maths skills in EYFS.
  • IXL English Some lovely online activities to practice English skills in EYFS.
  • PurpleMash This is a great website with lots of different learning activities. It can be accessed on an iPad or on a laptop. Rabbit's login: username - rabbits password - 97
  • Keeping Active! On a normal school day the government requires schools to provide children with a minimum of 2 hours of Sports a week. To help you keep your child active during school closures Premiere Education have provided us with an active calendar to follow. There is an activity on there for most days. Exercise is very important for physical and mental well-being, I hope these suggestions will be helpful. Keep an eye out for the April and May Calendar should we need them.
