Nursery Curriculum
In Nursery, we follow the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum using Development Matters as guidance. The EYFS has 7 areas of learning and development, which guide professionals’ engagement with your child’s play and activities as they learn new skills and knowledge in;
- Communication and Language
- Physical development
- Personal, Social and Emotional Development
- Literacy
- Mathematics
- Understanding the World
- Expressive Art and Design

We offer the government-funded 15 hours and the working parent 30-hour funded session for children aged 2–4 years.
Our morning session times are - 8:45am-11:45am.
Our afternoon session times are - 12:15pm-3:15pm.
Our 2-year-old children in receipt of 15 hours funding can choose either morning or afternoon sessions, at no charge. Additional 3-hour sessions can be booked for £18.50.
Our 2-year-olds in receipt of 30 hours funding can come all day Monday–Thursday and until 1:00pm on Friday. For a charge of £12 they can stay until 3:15pm.
Our 3 & 4-year-olds can choose their 15-hour funded sessions from the following:
- Every morning.
- Every afternoon.
- All day Monday & Tuesday & Wednesday morning.
- Wednesday afternoon, all day Thursday & Friday.
Additional 3-hour sessions can be booked for £15.
Our 3 & 4-year-olds in receipt of 30 hours funding can come all day Monday - Thursday and until 1:00pm on Friday. For a charge of £10 they can stay until 3:15pm.
An extra charge of £3.25 will be made if children would like a school lunch.
